Unraveling the real me

Life knew naught about its trajectory
It waved past me, till far seemed linear
For long concealed, my being refined
Life carved troughs, I etched dreams
Oblivious to the course time would choose
Oh yes! I stumbled every now and then
Yet with eyes fixed onto that crest
The one I had sketched as a hopeful child
Redeeming myself from the deep abyss
Blazing forward and inching closer
I get a glimpse of life’s curve, blurred
Still, now as I rise, as I heal, I believe
Life took those avenues to subtly assure
That I could unravel the unique, the real me!
